Last updated on Aug 10, 2025

Overview:

Data Widgets let you visually track values from your Notion databases. For example, you can display your monthly budget progress with a progress bar or gauge chart.

Steps:

  1. Connect Actions.so to your Notion workspace (ensure permission to read database content).

  2. Go to Widgets → Data Widgets.

  3. Select a Widget Type: progress bar, line chart, or donut chart.

  4. Link your Notion Database containing your budget data.

  5. Choose which property to display (e.g., “Amount Spent” vs “Budget Limit”).

  6. Set calculation logic (sum, average, percentage).

  7. Customize colors to match your Notion theme.

  8. Generate the embed link and insert it into your Notion page.

Tips:

  • Keep your database updated for real-time visuals.

  • Use color coding (green for under budget, red for over budget).
