Last updated on Aug 10, 2025

Overview:

Buttons are a great way to encourage action inside your Notion workspace — from linking to resources to triggering workflows. Here’s how to embed and customize one using Actions.so.

Steps:

  1. Open the Actions.so dashboard and select Widgets → Buttons.

  2. Choose your style: solid color, gradient, or transparent outline.

  3. Enter your Button Text (e.g., “View Project” or “Start Task”).

  4. Add your Link/Action — this could be an external link or a Notion page link.

  5. Customize appearance: adjust font, color, size, and hover effects.

  6. Click “Generate Embed Link”.

  7. In Notion:

    • Type /embed

    • Paste your generated link

    • Resize as desired.

Tips:

  • Use contrasting colors for higher visibility.

  • Keep button text short and action-oriented.
